Should you be able to use the anchor light with the canvas top opened using the hole with flap for an exit for the pole? I believe my top was installed to far towards the bow placing the hole about 10 inches off. Would like to get some firepower before I call the dealer. Thanks!!

I have a 2005 170 MONATUK with the Great Lakes brand bimini and use my anchor light all the time during those 0400 launches to the fishing grounds. By all means you should be able to use your light with the Bimini canvas "up". That is the whole reason for the slit/flap towards the front of it.

Does your top slide in stainless rails? If so, you might need to adjust the poles fore/aft to center the canvas hole over the light pole.
