Has anybody installed or had installed a swim platform after you've taken delivery of the boat? My wife wants Teak. Any suggestions? Thanks, CLW |

I think I'd get the factory platform, make a teak copy of the King Starboard decking, and save the Starboard for raw material for future projects.

I agree. I added the whaler boat step after the original purchase of my 170.There were less expensive steps available but for future resale I figured its better to stick with whaler parts. Pay attention to where its located. I plan on adding a kicker someday so I put it on the port side. Also I've seen them located high on the stern and low. Mine is on the higher side and works fine. I've heard about spray problems on some and assume the problem may be mounting too low. |

Thanks for the help. Can you send pictures so that I might "suggest" the install height to my dealer? Thanks, CLW |
