Down to some details on ordering and rigging my '06 Montauk. Is there a known conflict with the Mills Bimini and a bow mounted trolling motor (MK with quick release)? If you fold the bimini forward will it clear the trolling motor? Thanks.

The only way I see of avoiding that problem is to have one that folds back. Check out the pics on Mills site and you can see that there is just no way to have a bow motor and a forward folding top, unless you leave it up and stored in the boot. I would think that Mills could fix you up with an aft folding top, that would seem to be a common request.

You could probably fold your top forward, but only if done when the troller was deployed. That's what I found on my 2004 Montauk. Hence, I fold my bimini toward the stern, and secure it to the side rails with small dog collars having quick disconnects.
