Topic:   Pedestal seat support on the 2000 21 Outrage but not the 18, why?

posted 01-31-2006 07:34 PM ET (US)         On the 2000 21 Outrage there is an aluminum support bar that connects the two pedestals (supporting the pedestal seats), on the 18 there is no such support. Any idea as to why the designers deemed this necessary on the 21 but not the 18? I’ve measured and the distance between the pedestals is the same on both boats. I’m thinking about adding the support to my 18. I talked to Sue at Twin Cities and the parts are available for about $125.00
