posted 02-16-2007 03:21 PM ET (US)         I'm looking for ideas on putting a seat on the starboard step (seat) [on my 2005 Boston Whaler 170 MONTAUK]. I had a 4-HP kicker mounted there. It works great, but sitting on the step is very cumbersome . I thought of tieing the kicker to the main motor, but I fish a lot in some shallow and rocky coves. I need to be able vary the throttle and shift quickly. So I need to sit at stern. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks--Bob W
