Taken Saturday, May 19th at Big Rock. 35 minutes from hookup to tagged, to released. Little rough 3 - 5 foot seas but fishable. White marlin on! You just got to love a Whaler! Tom |

Nice catch! Trying to get into offshore fishing with my boat. How many lines do you run at once? Did you catch it on a lure or troll ballyhoo? Looks like you know what you are doing! Loved to learn from a master :) |

Mambo M .... Ballyhoo was the bait of choice hit the port side flat line. Using a blue/white medium jet head Islander Skirt with an 8/0 hook. This picture is worth a thousand words. Wow, very comprehensive pictorial! You added quite a few extra rod holders! I also have the four gunwale holder option. I'd be intimidated to run so many extra lines and downriggers. Thinking of runong two flat lines and maybe two deeper with planers and bungee cords off the stern cleats. Mostly looking at Kingfishing, since gulfstream is over 60 miles out from my ports of call. Too far w/o twins for me. I also like your mooring cover...is it custom or semi custom from one of the major vendors? Thx for sharing! |

Semi custom from I-boats. Once you get used to your spread it's pretty easy to fish it. You can experiment and find out what is most suitable for your Whaler. Tom |
