I have just purchased a 6 hp Mercury 4 stroke (20” leg) as an auxiliary motor for my 2007 Montauk 170. I am now looking for a fixed bracket for it and I would like some suggestions from members who have installed auxiliary outboards using a fixed bracket on their Montauk 170’s. I have looked at the design for the pony bracket for the 15 foot hull and I am thinking that this could be modified to remove the offset. All suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks. Ian
