Have any of you mounted outriggers on a 190 outrage? Where, how and what brand? Cheers |

I have not mounted outriggers, but I do use a pair of stainless rod holder outriggers from Smith. They work quite well but you do not get the amount of spread you do from outriggers. If you need 15' plus outriggers how about gunnel mounts from Lee or one of the other manufactures? |

I installed the outrigger mounts on my T-Top and sometimes I just put the rods in the outrigger holders to keep them up out of the salt spray. {url}http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/perrycl/Picture0411.jpg[/url] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/perrycl/Picture0401.jpg |

Hey Perry thanks for the pictures. Have not seen the pole holders on the side of a t top before, some thing to consider. looks welded on, so I it is a custom job and not a shelf item? Looks like your t top is a 2 piece unit. Is that stainless steel or aluminum? Really clean welds if it is aluminum! |

alfred, it is a custom aluminum T-Top. I had the 1 3/4" tubing welded to the uprights so I can insert the outrigger/rod holders. They are removable. I can either put my outriggers in them or put the poles in. |
