[What is the length] of just the trailer with folding tongue [that is used with a Boston Whaler 190 MONTAUK]? Will it fit in my 22" [probably means 22-foot] garage?

When in the water, does the 115-HP motor tilt all the way up? Is there a tunnel from the center console to the bow? I'd like to run a trolling motor on the bow.

Is the [mechancial] cable steering as bad as it seems for a boat this price? Can the steering eventually be converted to hydraulic?

Is there any difference between 2007 and 2008 model?

The trailer will not fit in a 22' garage. Boat is 19, add 2' for motor, add 2' or more for the hinge. I get 23'. A 170 would fit, just barely.

The motor tilts up so that the lower unit will be out of the water. Not totally horizontal.

There is no tunnel to the bow. There is a bow trolling motor panel option. See whaler.com, select Montauk 190, build your own. It lists the options.

There is nothing wrong with Teleflex cable steering if lubricated and the trim tab on the motor is set properly. You can switch out and upgrade at the dealer or as a DIY later.

Thanks, I'm considering leaving the Montauk in a slip and keeping just the trailer in my garage. The dealer called yesterday and said exactly 19' with the tongue folded.

I was hoping to improvise a wiring path to the bow without having to order the boat special. Are the wires to the nav lights molded in?

Do you know if the motor clears the water when tilted up?

Thanks for the help?
