Does anyone know how to remove the rear quarter seat backrest? I have tried looking up the search function but can't find anything in regards to the 190 OR.

I noticed there is a hole on the side of the consul behind the windshield, Is that to be left open for ventilation? (the windshield and handrail were removed for shipping)

When you put the windshield on, do you have to Locktite the screws?

The hole in the console, one left and right is there for ventalation.

No--do not put Loctite on the screws in the windshield. For one thing, Loctite will cause Plexi to craze.

The stern back rests do not really come off. I have removed mine and replaced them with a formed aluminum piece I made. There are I recall six screws that hold the piano hinge to the stern, remove these and the rear cushions will come free.

Our Nantucket has a hole in that location on each side of the console as I said, if yours has only one that is odd.

You are right, there is one on the other side as well.

Will take a closer look at the back rest. Glad I didn't try to pull them off. I was wondering if they were fitted with snaps!

cheers

There are snaps to hold the cushion back but the lower edge is attached with a piano hinge.
