markcevans57	posted 04-12-2009 04:09 PM ET (US)         I just purchased [a 1997 Boston Whaler DAUNTLESS 17] near suburban Philadelphia. [The intended use of the 1997 Boston Whaler DAUNTLESS 17 will be] for Vermont lake fish, ski and cruise. Are there any required fixes or recommendations for a 2002-model year Boston Whaler DAUNTLESS 17 model? The boat has a 125 Mercury two-cycle outboard motor and is in clean condition. Thanks.

In it's 1st year (1996) the Boston Whaler Dauntless 17 Dual Console was named "Boat of the Year" by a major boating magazine. Amazing room for it's size. And a very smooth, dry ride. The stern area removable folding cockpit table is a great addition if you don't have it.
