Do you get water in your live well when backing down? I have an 2007 180, I first thought the the valve on the pump was not shut off. I then realized when ever I would back down I would get about an in over water inside the live well that was coming in from the drain. This might do to having 2 group 31 AGMS mounted in the rear of the boat. I plan to have the dealer move them to the CC

Yes, I do on my 2005 180 Dauntless and I'm not sure changing the battery location would make a difference given the location of the through hull near the water line. A simple solution is to install a drain plug in the bottom of the livewell when it's not in use. BD

On my '07 200 Dauntless I get water in the livewell forward of the console if I forgot to close the seacock leading to the livewell/washdown pump in the stern area.

this is not what you're experiencing is it?

I only have the rear live well on my boat. The water comes in thru the drain at the bottom of the well.
