I am looking at purchasing a 1998 17 Dauntless with a walk-thru windshield, and a 115 Johnson motor. What can you tell me about this boat/motor?

I purchased a 1997 Dauntless 17' in March and have just now been getting hours on her. She has a 125 Mercury XLTPO that gets on plane quickly around 3500 RPM and cruises nicely at 4000 RPM.
Minor trim adjustments keep her from porpoising. Been docked on Lake Dunmore in VT so no rough seas to contend with so far. Stays dry. The scuppers drain well. Just fitted with Mills Canvas bow and cockpit covers.
Great utilty boat for wakeboarding and fishing. I have no info on your motor. Good luck with her.
