Anyone with bait tank problems with the Conquests?,Looks like most Conquests I see have a after market set up.Usually a aft deck circular setup.I'am Curious as to what you think, I presently do not own a conquest but am considering a purchasing one, either a 255 or 285 .
thanks

I own a 1999 280 Conquest. The live well works like a dream... Never had a problem with it.

Some owners may have added an after market live bait well because their boat was not equipped with that option.

Others may have added another bait well for added capacity. In a few hours of fishing it's easy to get through a lot of bait when you have several anglers aboard.

Butch has a point...

As the saying goes... "the more the merrier". When there are 5-6 of us fishing it gets a bit cramped and bait does fly out of the boat. I end up being the first mate and Captain... I have used one of my in deck fish boxes for additional storage of live bait. Scooping and swapping them into the live well to maintain their viability...

Likewise, my baitwell on my 28 Conquest (1999) has been flawless.
