Whaler19	posted 10-10-2011 11:36 AM ET (US)         I just purchased a 2001 Dauntless 16 that has the fishing package (no bow rail and trolling motor). Has anyone purchased a Dauntless 16 bow rail (Specialty Marine?)...looking to ad one. Also, does anyone have the sundeck (bow area filler and cushion) as an option for their Dauntless 16? I've heard great things about the Dauntless 16, so looking forward to getting on the water.
Dauntless_14_TX	posted 10-11-2011 09:56 AM ET (US)             I have an 03' Dauntless 18 and a 99' Dauntless 14' and the best place to get a replacement bow cushion is Anderson's Mfg and Upholstery (321) 267-7028, as instructed by Chuck Bennett from Boston Whaler. My new cushion from them for my 18' was perfect and identical to the OEM one. As far as the sundeck option, I would try calling a Boston Whaler dealer and seeing if the part (kit) is available. I was surprised how many OEM parts I could get for my 14' even though its been out of production for over a decade now.
andrey320	posted 10-13-2011 01:58 PM ET (US)             I got a bow cushion for my Dauntless 15 from Specialty Marine. Looks nice, fits well, can't comment on durability (only had it for a few months) - although the strap on the front is starting to rip a bit.... That's probably from opening the anchor locker with the cushion tied down.
