I have a 2004 220 Dauntless. My sales brochure shows a 12-gallon freshwater shower. I didn't get that option when I purchased the boat. Can I add it now? If so, how? Thanks.

I doubt it as I could not fit that 12 gallon tank below deck. It is installed before the center deck piece is installed. There is a flexible tank option available but it was in the 400-500 dollar range for the very reason I describe. Another option is if you have a raw water washdown pump and a livewell, I can tell you how to plumb both and get a freshwater shower.

[A]re you saying it is not possible to take out the board on the left side down in the console and slide the 12-gallon tank in under the floor[?] I have the two live well option and a raw water wash down pump. I would appreciate knowing how to pipe a freshwater shower if you can't slip the tank in. My email is milepost43@comcast.net. Thanks

You might be able to do it. On my boat the 12-gallon tank is fitted just behind the gas tank which is under the center deck, console, leaning post, T-top, etc. Royal pain to remove all that, and the only way to get the tank where it belongs. I am not intimately familiar with the Dauntless, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I will send you an email explaining how to pipe into the livewell and use the raw water pump for a fresh water shower.

I have a 2006 220 Dauntless with the freshwater shower option. The tank is in the aft portion of the console. It has a cap to refill the tank on the port side of the console. There is a dedicated pump for the freshwater shower in the console and the hose runs to the back of the boat near the bench seat where the shower nozzle is located.

It seems like it would be a pain to install a freshwater shower to be same as the option.
