1989 REVENGE 22 TaylorMade Screw Cover Molding

Postby burnett1 » Thu May 21, 2026 10:46 am

In regard to a TaylorMade windshield part (herein referred to as a] ""screw cover molding" that is used on the windshield of a 1989 REVENGE 22, a representative named Theresea Havlick from Taylor Made indicated the part number was 8338920. This part costs $95 and there is no return policy.

Q1: can any reader give me any specific information on this part in reference to a matching fit?

I have a 1990 REVENGE 22 W-T Whaler Drive. The windshield was made by TaylorMade. I would assume the same applies to your 1989 REVENGE 22.

Q2: is the part you are seeking shown in Figure 1 below?
See caption for details.

NOTE: an 19-year-old thread mentions a molding associated with a c.1989 REVENGE 22 and the same lady's name. I assume you already found this thread, but if not it is at

Let me know if one of the product shown there, typically described as a screw track cover rubber insert, is what you are looking for.

I am looking for the actual cover that goes around the perimeter of each individual windshield.

The original screw cover shrinks and then pulls away from the windshield.

Do you see that part in Figure 1?

If you don’t see the part you want in Figure 1, then please show us a picture of what you want.

Did you see anything similar to what you want in the many cover insert moldings at the website I gave a URL to above?

I hope you can see [the screw cover molding in Figure 2 below].

The molding in Figure 2 looks a lot like the molding in Figure 1. Please explain further if there is a difference between the two moldings.
