Some early pics after picking it up - stripped down, sold the 50-HP, power washed, and ready to get going.

3 coats Primer on the hull. The dolly is built for when the boat is flipped back over upright.
That is all so far. I will keep posting as I go. I would love any feedback or tips. This site is great for content and information.

Where did you get the interior wood?
I need to replace [the interior wood] on my 1981 13-footer.

[The wood interior was purchased] from [Specialty Marine]. I [placed the] order on-line.
Re: 1970 13 SPORT Project
Is the dolly [seen above in a photo] made with 2 x 4 lumber?
How long is the dolly?
How far apart are the bunks?
ASIDE: I bought a 1970 13-footer will be working on it soon.

Hi Bill--yes [the cradle seen above was] all done with 2x4's. It holds the boat perfectly. Originally I thought I would have to strap down the boat, but that is not needed at all.
Width is 26-inches (outside dimensions of the bunks). Length is 5-feet, There are two 8-inche overhangs, so 76-inches total. More at

Re: 1970 13 SPORT Project
I created a blog for my project, figuring it would be easier to update that as friends and family ask me how it is going.
