Beach Launching 13-footer

I found two trailers that might be suitable for launching a 13-footer from a beach:

• a $2,000 Bigfoot 6 Wheel Jet Ski Dolly, and
• a $1,575 Dynamic Type 9 dolly.

Q1: will either of the two trailers mentioned above allow me to launch my 1989 13-footer from a long grassy beach area?

Q2: will the hull strakes cause a problem in using either trailer above?

Also give me advice on any other trailers that you have seen being used to launch a Boston Whaler 13-footer from a beach.

I'm hoping to keep a 1989 Boston Whaler 13-footer pulled up onto a long grassy beach area.

I am quite sure you could launch the boat from either trailer, but the real test will be if you will be able to load a 13-footer onto the trailer, pull it uphill and out of the water, and across the beach.

The TYPE 9 DOLLY trailer with two slings would not create any problem with the hull strakes on a 1989 13-footer.

The “bigfoot” trailer with hard roller supports might not work well with a Unibond hull. Also, with all those rollers, that trailer will need some mechanism to secure the hull to the trailer so it does not just roll off when being moved across the beach.

We use a WheelEZZ dolly on our beach for a 12’ aluminum boat. Works well. I was going to try it with the 13’ Whaler but never did.
The Dynamic Type 9 dolly is better because you keep the straps lose and the hull will be between the wheels instead of above the wheels.
