Recently replaced the gauge and sender [on a 1992 Boston Whaler 23 WALKAROUND boat], as the originals were giving readings less than empty when ignition was turned on. Wiring was replace and new sender and gauge were replaced. I received a correct reading upon turning the ignition and now getting reading below empty again. There is approximately 3/4 tank of fuel.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: 1992 23 WA Fuel gauge/sender concern
Check all the wiring connections.
Check the float on the arm.

Re: 1992 23 WALKAROUND Fuel Gauge and Sender
The electrical meter should never go below the ZERO point. If it does, the polarity of the meter is wrong.
