Hi ron,

I noticed you were not geting any responses so I thought I would try to help. My brother used the guy on the following link from the Boston area and was very happy with him. Perhaps he can recommend someone in the Maryland area (or is willing to make the trip). Best of luck.

Ron,
I'm sorry I can't help you with the surveyor.
I can recommend a few things to look for on the Conquest. I just replaced my front anchor hatch due to serious gelcoat cracks and de-lamination. part 150.00 plus my time.
Triple check the hardtop mounting as many on this board have had tubing failures.

The surveyor I used in northern NJ was very thorough ( I was present) and charged 450.00 including the engine. (225 EFI Merc, I'm very happy with.)

Good luck
Dave

Surveyors:
Ocean City Marine Surveyors (SAMS)
410-289-7894
Indenpendent Marine Survey (SAMS)
410-221-1108
Anchor Marine Enterprises (NAMS)
410-228-2105

I don't know these guys but they are straight out of the NAMS/SAMS books.
Rex

Ron, If you haven't found a surveyor yet in OC give Frankie Pettolina a call. Him and his dad run the charter boat Last Call out of Bahia Marina. Call the marina and they will have his number.

Jerry Tripitelli -- he is in SE PA but serves New Jersey, Maryland, etc.

A really nice, professional guy.
