Hello all,

Need some help. Considering buying this boat, but don't know enough to say if this price is fair or not. It seems a touch on the high side to me....can anyone give me some ideas as to what the right price band. Also, the owner told me that the motor was a 2000 85 HP yamaha, w/ carbs. I am not certain but I don't think Yamaha made that motor in 2000. Thanks for your help!

The Price is what it's worth to you. The boat looks brand new and has very reliable power.I believe you will get your money's worth. It is also listed here http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/3423

How good of a job did the restorer do with the respray? Small pictures hide a lot of poor quality. Also I think most whaler loves can appreciate an updated classic however I think they are harder to sell later because most buyers are looking for these nice OEM classics which run in this price range or less.

Joey is right though is it worth it to you?

Are you willing to drive to Brandon(south of Tampa)? If so my friend has a sweet 1997 Montauk with a Johnson 90hp you can buy for less than that.
