POP Yachts is a RIP-OFF! They OVER-PRICE everything they list. Their new logo should be-- STOP don't buy Yachts. |

Yes, but the diesel is cool. What does a new volvo D4 cost? |

That boat was advertised on Craigslist for a while. First at a high price and then at a low price because it had suffered engine damage due to flooding. |

I've seen the boat at one of our local public beaches and spoke with the owner several times. I have not seen it since the storm. It was a really nice boat prior to Sandy and Rolf took very good care of it. And yes, stay away from popyachts! |

Meant to add that I spoke to the original owner when he listed it for $8K, and he told me that the water did not get above the intake manifold, and that the oil was clear. If I had not been running off to fly for a month I would have bought it sight unseen, and then Last Frontier came along and that was that as she has a better layout for my needs. I wouldn't be surprised if the new owner put in a battery and a new starter and alternator and fired it up, as that was my expectation at the time. In retrospect I should have bought her for the engine... but at the time I didn't know would be buying Last Frontier. Hindsight is always 20/20 <sigh>
