A few weeks ago I stumbled across instructions and diagrams for making your own Montauk cooler chocks, however, have not been able to find them again. I should have bookmarked it the first time. Where I can find them? Thanks.

I don't think you found the drawing hosted here. See

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/drawings.html

Unfortunately, many drawings that were available have gone missing because they were hosted by individuals on the individual's own website. There was a time, in the early days of web hosting, when there was--at least I thought there was--a certain ethic that you did not just scrape information off someone else's website and put it on your website. So the collection of drawings was distributed around to many hosting sites. Unfortunately, many of those sites have been shut off, and the drawings they had are no longer available from them. Many of the drawings were just scans of original Boston Whaler documents. You can often get those same drawings via email from Boston Whaler. The Boston Whaler customer service department has hundreds of electronic copies of old Boston Whaler diagrams that they will send to you via email if you ask them. I'd try that approach, next, to see if Whaler has the original plans.

If you use GOOGLE search for images, you can find the general design of the original cooler chocks in many images. See

As you might expect with something from Boston Whaler from the 1970's, those chocks look rather complicated.

Re finding a URL that you recently visited: most browsers keep a history file that goes back at least 30 days. If you search in your own browser's history you can probably find the URL for the resource you were seeking.
