Have a [just acquired] 23 Outrage with twin 135-HP Mercury OptiMax motors. The boat has two batteries and two switches with OFF-1-BOTH-2 positions. Should I use one battery to start each engine, say port on 1 and starboard on 2? Should I use all? What about when drifting? Switch to off if not using electronics? When would I want to use all? When having trouble starting on one? Thanks much on this. Dave |

See: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/dualBattery.html If your Boston Whaler boat is wired with the usual arrangement provided by Boston Whaler, there is applicable information and advice given. |

Thanks, Jim. I did discover this after I made the post. Didn't like my new to me verbiage, huh . . . |
