Recently, I acquired a 1968 13 foot Whaler. The boat had been sitting outside for twelve years. It was full of leaves, dirt and whatever nature could throw at her. It had several very active earthworms. The boat as you would imagine was filthy. I have found a source for the interior blue but am unsure of the exterior color. I am in the deep southeast USA and have yet to find a dealer within driving distance. Would someone suggest a source for the rub rail?Thank you in advance for the requested information.

I just clicked on the 'search' it is just under the box where it reads NEW TOPIC. I typed in exterior color 1968 13' Whaler.

You can use the 'search' for anything related to your boat or any darn Whaler made. You do not have to be logged in or under a time limit.

I'm glad you are putting some time and effort into that 1968 13' Whaler. It is the best boat ever made. Some say the 15' Whaler is the best, they can kiss my a@@

The color of the hull of a c.1968 13-foot Boston Whaler boat was white. See

The original rub rail on a c.1968 Boston Whaler 13-foot boat was probably the one-piece white rub rail. You may consider if you want to employ that same style rub rail in your restoration. If you contact the vendor previously able to supply that material, please let readers know if it is still available. It has been quite a long time since I recall anyone getting the one-piece white rub rail material, and it would be good to know if it is still available.
